PTQ-Play Tennis Quickly

PTQ is an 8-week tennis program for beginners and community programs. It includes 4 weeks of technique coaching, 2 weeks of supervised match-play, and 2 additional weeks of match-play. A tennis racquet is included in the program. 

*Please bring appropriate tennis or athletic shoes and clothing. Bring water or sports drink for hydration. The club does offer bottled water and sports drinks for an additional fee. 

*The dates may be extended due to inclement weather. 

 

Instructor BIO

Patrick has coached over 25 years including Kansas City, Missouri and North Central Arkansas. His passion for the game keeps people coming and constantly smiling. He played Division 1 tennis for University of Arkansas - Little Rock and loves taking that high performance experience to help players of all ages. He is certified through the United States Professional Teaching Association and the Professional Tennis Registry. His best quality: making people love tennis!  

Fit.1 Circuit Training

This Circuit Training class is a high-energy workout designed for everyone from the competitive athlete to those walking into their first fitness class. Understanding everyone is in a different place in their fitness journey, our group classes are designed to challenge you physically and mentally wherever you are. Circuit Training will include cardio and strength training exercises incorporating bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, slam balls, battle ropes, Reebok steps, plyo boxes, etc. This class takes place in the HIIT gym under the party lights with loud, energetic music to amp you up. Coaches are there the entire time to keep you safe, on track, and motivated.  MODIFICATIONS ARE PROVIDED.  

 

*Students should wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing.

 

Fit.1 is a studio and gym that offers group fitness and welcomes all fitness levels. We opened our doors in 2020 and have been changing lives one class at a time. We are known for our inviting atmosphere and making everyone feel welcome. We believe in a fitness family and love the community we have built. We invite you to come be part of it.

Instructor Bio

Misty Gigliotti is a trainer and coach who motivates and inspires others to live happier and healthier lifestyles. She is the owner of Fit.1 and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and Certified Nutrition Coach with a passion for physical and mental health. She believes fitness and real food are so important in discovering the best versions of ourselves. Misty grew up an athlete with a respect for pushing physical limits and understanding how strong we truly are. She and her husband Paul love the outdoors, running on the trail, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading, writing, and cuddling with her two four-legged furry girls, Molly & Addy.

Fly Fishing

Calendar Sep 24, 2024 at 6 pm, runs for 4 weeks

Let two knowledgeable local guides teach you to fly fish, in a safe and comfortable environment. Subjects include fly casting, water safety, equipment, knots, rigging, four basic fly fishing techniques, reading water, and fly selection. No equipment is needed. Rods and reels are provided at each class meeting or you may bring yours. Learn everything you need to fish on your own.
