Homeschool Enrichment-Visual Thinking Strategies in History (ages 10-14 class)

Calendar Apr 22, 2024 at 10 am, runs for 4 weeks

Join us to examine primary sources (paintings, buildings, sculptures, artifacts, etc.) using visual thinking strategies designed to help you learn about historical topics using one of your strongest senses-sight! A fun class for middle school students. 

*There will be no class held on May 13th due to commencement. 

 

Instructor BIO

Lisa Lacefield is a relatively new resident of Mountain Home, but has called Arkansas home her entire life. Prior to moving to Mountain Home and beginning work in the children's department of the Baxter County Library, she was a middle school history teacher and social studies curriculum consultant in the Jonesboro area for 22 years. She loves teaching about our country and our beautiful state, and thoroughly enjoys helping history come to life for her students.
