Mountain Home Parks & Recreation is conducting free umpire training for their upcoming soccer, baseball, and softball season.
The training is mandatory for any new umpire. The clinic will consist of classroom and field training. The clinic will provide the new umpire with an understanding of what the league is about, the expectations of the Parks and Recreation Team of its umpires, and the basics of being a base umpire. This class will provide the new umpire with preliminary knowledge to be applied during Field Day training.
The final 2 days of class, Feb 22 & March 1, 2023 will be held at the baseball fields.
