Picture books aren't just for kids! Come join us for a 4 week class that explores historical topics through beautiful selections of high quality children's literature. Books will dicuss the Great Depression, space exploration, World War II, civil rights and more! Fun, relaxing atmosphere.

 *There will be no class held on May 13th due to commencement.

Instructor BIO

Lisa Lacefield is a relatively new resident of Mountain Home, but has called Arkansas home her entire life. Prior to moving to Mountain Home and beginning work in the children's department of the Baxter County Library, she was a middle school history teacher and social studies curriculum consultant in the Jonesboro area for 22 years. She loves teaching about our country and our beautiful state, and thoroughly enjoys helping history come to life for her students.
