Conversational Spanish for Beginners

$130

with Vanesa Roberts

Calendar Jan 13, 2026 at 5:15 pm, runs for 14 weeks

This beginner-friendly Spanish course is designed for teens and adults who want to build confidence in speaking and understanding the language in practical, everyday contexts. Through interactive activities, short dialogues, and pronunciation practice, students will focus on meaningful communication rather than memorization.

Topics will include talking about yourself, social conversations, and daily life. Each session will also include cultural insights from Spanish-speaking countries to make the learning experience engaging and relevant.

Optional materials, such as a book or magazine (typically $15–$25), may be recommended to enhance learning, but are not required. No prior experience is required, making this course ideal for anyone curious about learning Spanish in a relaxed, supportive environment.

* No class will be held on March 24th or April 14th.

Instructor BIO:

Hola! My name is Vanesa Roberts. I was born and raised in Argentina. I love learning about different cultures and the magic of language. I started teaching in Argentina and with all the years I have already been in the USA, I add up to over 20 years of experience in the field of education. In my free time, I like to be with my family. We love to travel, and whenever we have a chance, we go camping and hiking. Bakeries are a must-stop at our destinations, especially those with European or Argentine-style pastries. Let’s say that music, friends, adventure, faith, as well as dancing, baking, teaching, laughing, and spending tons of time with my family make me the person I am today. What about you? Are you ready for this Spanish adventure? Let’s do it!
