with Tamatha Dudley

$60

Everywhere we go and in almost every business transaction we do, we see someone using some form of computer. Understanding what a computer is and the operating system that makes it work are necessary for any student or anyone that has a computer. Learning to navigate through the computer and to keep files and records that are easy to find is a skill that is vital to anyone who works on a computer. In this class, students will learn and apply the following: Basic computer terminology, the operating system, personalizing the desktop, adding shortcuts, creating, deleting, and saving files and folders, and applying search methods to find files and folders. Internet and email skills will be addressed. Students will also get a glimpse of the keyboard.
