Scrub Camp: Medical Applications of Science for Health

Are you a high school junior or senior with a passion for science, health, or helping others—but don’t have access to a white coat program? Scrub Camp is your chance to step into the world of medicine and experience what a future in healthcare could look like.

This immersive, hands-on camp is designed specifically for students like you—curious, driven, and ready to explore the possibilities of a career in health sciences. Over the course of the 4 days, you’ll:

Whether you’re already planning your path or just starting to explore the idea of a healthcare career, Scrub Camp will open doors and spark inspiration.

There will be a morning snack and lunch each day at ASUMH.

ASUMH and Baxter Health have teamed up to offer an engaging, hands-on camp created especially for students like you—curious, motivated, and eager to discover the exciting world of health sciences.

Each day, participants will spend three hours at Baxter Health’s cutting-edge simulation facility, where they’ll learn essential medical skills and the value of teamwork through innovative teaching methods and clinical simulation technology. In addition, participants will tour the ASUMH campus, explore medical terminology, and get a first-hand look at what it’s like to work as an EMT.

Transportation to and from Baxter Health will be provided at no cost to the student(s).
